A born entertainer, Bettina’s passion for music is a driving force. explore her musical roots and individual sound while developing a love for the disciplined co-writing process in Nashville.
“I have this vivid memory of being a toddler – my mom listened to Dolly Parton, The Judds, and Elton John, while my dad played old Motown. I couldn’t yet read, write, or speak full sentences, but I sang those songs over and over and knew exactly what they meant – and what they meant to me.”
Bettina co-wrote the chart-topping, American Idol Underground Award-winning “She Is” as a tribute to her parents’ marriage, and in 2007/2008 it resonated with fans at #4 on the Billboard Hot Singles Charts. Her follow-up single, the autobiographical “Cradle To The Grave”, has just made its Billboard debut at #37 and in 2008, People Magazine raves about Bettina in their “New Stars We Love” feature.

Bettina is donating $0.10 of “Cradle To The Grave – a song about family” to March of Dimes and its efforts to give every baby a healthy start in life. When her goddaughter was born more than a full trimester premature and she nearly lost her best friend in childbirth, the young artist learned firsthand the importance of the research they do. This is Bettina’s way of saying thank you. Her goal is over a million downloads, and she is hoping that people will see that by donating One Dime At A Time, purchasing the single can collectively make a huge difference. Bettina has already donated several concerts to the March for Babies this year, playing the song live for tens of thousands of fans, and personally autographing singles. She rounded out her tour this year performing at the US Air Force Academy with Smashmouth, opening for Gretchen Wilson in Atlantic City, and sharing the stage with American Idol’s David Archuleta in Hollywood.
Bettina is currently in the studio working on her new album “Emerald City” with producer Automatic who just wrapped production with the Pussycat Dolls and Pink, and she’s recorded a collaboration with Darius Rucker and Mark Bryan of Hootie and the Blowfish.
