Former intern for Betsey Johnson and freelancer for Marc Jacobs, contemporary designer Dana-Maxx held an exclusive preview of her latest collections at Greenhouse on Thursday, May 6th. Hosted by VH1’s Janell Snowden, I had the wonderful opportunity of sitting in on this glamorous runway showcase. Guests chatted it up over cocktails and ice cream while the DJ spun an electrifying mix of pop and 80’s tunes. Flashing lights and crystals suspended from the ceiling created an atmosphere of luxury which perfectly reflects the pulse of New York City’s fashion world! From slinky black numbers to bright floral frocks, there was a cute little treasure for every type of fashionista. The crowd cheered at the edge of their seats as models glided down the runway in sexy form fitting tops, sweet ruffled skirts, and bold pattern dresses. Each look was simple yet quite trendy and youthful.

After the presentation, was a smashing performance by Alexandra Alexis who rocked an adorable tiered mini dress by Dana-Maxx.

ANTM winner Jaslene Gonzales (who ripped the runway that night), Dana-Maxx, and Janell Snowden were all smiles in Dana-Maxx designs on the Red carpet.

Another ANTM alumni Lisa Jackson who also walked down the runway, showed off her pearly whites in an edgy Dana-Maxx design, with sequin and zipper details.

Reality star Jessica Rich showed up as well. Other guests included celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch and more. There you have it folks a night full of stars, socializing and of course style. Until next time here’s some video from the event:
