TeenDiariesOnline.com teams with Chilli (of TLC) + Model Cynthia Bailey to Launch “Project Butterfly”

Teen Diaries LLC and their online educational and entertainment website, TeenDiariesOnline.com teamed with Chilli (from TLC) and Supermodel Cynthia Bailey on Saturday, October 24th to present “PROJECT BUTTERFLY: Atlanta” at the Andrew & Walter Young Family YMCA. The live-community based event attracted over 130 teen girls… (ages 12-18), their parents, and mentors for fun-filled and interactive round table workshops that focused on building positive self-esteem while educating the teens about proper skin care and age-appropriate makeup application.
The teens, who hailed from various areas of Georgia and neighboring states, were also treated to an insightful discussion about the modeling industry from Supermodel Cynthia Bailey, learned about the world of pageantry from Hal Jackson’s Talented Teen International 2009 Briyana Guadalupe, and an intimate self-esteem chat with singer/songwriter/spokesmodel Chilli from the ever popular R&B girl group TLC.
TESTIMONIALS:
“Its always a pleasure for me to speak to young women in this age group. The teenage years are so important and a time when girls need to make good decisions. I hope I was able to inspire some of the girls there to set goals for themselves and strive to achieve them.” — Chilli (TLC/Project Butterfly Guest Speaker)“On behalf of Project Butterfly and TeenDiariesOnline.com, I recently had the privilege to speak to a group of teenage girls in Atlanta, GA bout the modeling and fashion industry. I was so surprised to learn that even today, there is still a lack of accurate knowledge and information available firsthand to young girls wanting to pursue a career in the fashion industry. I advised them on the proper channels to go through and warned them to be cautious of “model scams” that can require hundreds and even thousands of dollars usually with little or no result. I am glad Project Butterfly gave me the stage to set the record straight and point these girls in the right direction. Thank you Teen Diaries and I hope the girls enjoyed me as much as I enjoyed them. ” –Cynthia Bailey (Supermodel/Project Butterfly Guest Speaker)
“I enjoyed being able to give the girls advice and share knowledge that I’ve gained through my particiption in pageants. It was a wonderful event and I too learned a lot from Miss Chilli and Miss Cynthia Bailey.” — Briyana Guadalupe (Hal Jackson’s Talented Teen International 2009/Project Butterfky Guest Speaker)
“Today was wonderful and well organized. All of you appear to be perfect caring role models for young ladies. Thanks for coordinating this activity.” — Springe Love (Mother of Teen Attendee)
“I wanted to say thank you for providing the opportunity and vision to the young ladies Saturday!” – Kimberly Wright (Project Butterfly Volunteer)
