The rapidly approaching holiday season is a dead giveaway that the year is coming to an end. 2009 has been filled with times of joy and laughter as well as pain and hurt. But I did not let that stop me. This year I am thankful for my health, strength and family. We [as a nation] have lost many great people to illnesses this year so I am very thankful that I can say that no one close to me suffered any life changing illnesses. I am thankful for my strength because it has stopped me from giving up when life threw me a curve ball. And of course I wouldn’t be where I am without the love and support of my family. 2009 was a good year looking forward to many more.
