This year I’m thankful for my Family. The loss of my maternal grandmother earlier this year has brought my family closer together. My grandmother was a very special person to both my mother’s side of the family and my father’s side of the family. It was amazing to see how both families could be so supportive. Although the doctors had given her only seven days to live, with the love and support of family ➫ she lived for another 2 years. While she was in the hospital, there was never a day that she was alone. Even family members from Senegal made the trip over to see her. It made me realize the importance and value of family. Family is everything!  You should always cherish the time you spend with family, as loved ones don’t live forever.
