EMBARRASSING MOMENT: I Thought It Was Real!
saw a new Louis Vuitton purse sitting on his bed for me I nearly freaked out! I mean its an LV – what else do you need? After I screamed and hollered for a few seconds, I then hugged him and thanked him. He was beaming with so much pride because of the great gift he had chosen, and I just couldn’t wait to wear it around town and make everyone at my school completely jealous!
Everything was cool until I went back to school on Monday. I was flaunting my bag and getting those looks of jealousy that I wanted. It was great… until one of my teachers asked to take a look at it. After all, I was showing it off to everyone. I proudly passed it over to her. She opened it up, took one look inside and announced in front of everyone, “um…sweetie, this is not a real Louie.” My mouth dropped. “Yes it is,” I screamed. “No it’s not… see, this is how you tell.” And she proceeded to give me a lesson on the stitching and inside details that REAL Louis Vuitton bags have. All of the things that my knock off clearly did not! I thought I was going to die. Everyone laughed and of course the word spread like wildfire that my bag was a fake!!! It wouldn’t have been so bad if I hadn’t been bragging so hard. I guess that’s what I deserved. As soon as I got home, I threw that bag right in my boyfriends face. “Next time, tell me it’s not real please,” I yelled. He looked completely mortified, so I think I know what I am getting for Christmas this year
