The Beauty and Love Teen Summit, with last year’s stops in Mobile, Alabama and Memphis, Tennessee hosting 300 girls, was conceived after Quamie, whose clients include Academy Award-winning entertainer Forest Whitaker and supermogul Tyra Banks, realized the deep (and oftentimes damaging) effects of fashion on teen girls’ self esteem.
