The 10th annual BET Awards were a huge success. A number of A-List celebrities including Kanye West, Prince, Jada-Pinkett Smith, Ludacris, Patti LaBelle and many more came out to support the show. After a year away from the music scene, Yeezy returned to the stage with an electrifying performance of his new hit single “Power”. The Grammy award winner never seems to disappoint his fans musically and visually. While performing in a red suit and a monstrous Egyptian chain and pyramid ring, he was hot lava in the center of an erupting volcano. Now that’s POWER!!!!

Queen Latifah served as the hostess for the ceremony. The entertainment mogul kept us very entertained with her array of costume changes, funny commentary, and onstage performances.

BIG WINNER: The lady of the evening was the Barbie of Rap -  Nicki Minaj. The New York native took home 3 awards, one of which was for Best Female Rap Artist (she beat out both Lil Kim and Trina). During her speech (after professing her admiration for Jada Pinkett), the humble artist managed to throw out that she does pay homage to all the females and that they need to stick together. Last night (6/27/10), BET celebrated the 10th Anniversary of their popular music award show which honors men and women excelling in the Hip Hop and R&B genres. Celebrities, including Keri Hilson, Jaden & Willow Smith, Cassie, Drake, and many more, got glammed up for their appearances at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. Nick Cannon was a red carpet correspondent and Nicki Minaj wowed the crowd in a vintage gown with an orange/red wig. Last night, actor Jaden Smith celebrated his big moment with his family and celebrity friends. The 12 year-old cutie hit the red carpet of his KARATE KID Los Angeles premiere with his brother Trey Smith, sister (actress Willow Smith), and parents (actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith). While the young movie star made a statement in his red, Micheal Jackson inspired jacket, his 9 year-old sister Willow made a splash with her Janelle Monáe meets Rihanna hairdo, edgy leopard outfit, and ultra-cool combat boots.

Actress Willow Smith (9), daughter to über famous actors Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, had the internet buzzing over the weekend about her “Casey” inspired hairdo. She debuted her new look on Friday, December 11th, during the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway.
